What to expect:
Class will begin with a 25 minute warm-up designed to build your foundation and get you on your feet while warming up your body. Next, we will do some progressions across the floor starting with basic movement and then building up to more complicated movement, practice turns, and eventually jumps. From there, we begin working on a dance combination created by David that is rooted in Musical Theatre. This combination may have elements from ballet, jazz, folk, commercial movement or a variety of backgrounds but will be motivated by character and tell some sort of a story. We will then break into groups and work on the routine until the end of class focusing on technique and performance.
